Papaya Sprouts

So I went to open my really ripe papaya today and I found a surprise!
All of the seeds inside were sprouted and I tasted some of them and they were rather bitter. Are they safe, or even healthy, to consume? What should I do with them?

Anyone ever had em before?

They're probably bitter for a reason (don't eat them, right?).

As for what to do... plant papaya trees!
